I can kind of see why people talk about this movie so much because it had the potential to be really cool, but it just isn't. I also don't think it's as terrible as everyone says, though, just... not good.

Really fucking stupid but I didn’t care because it was all so entertaining. Okay it was annoying how much they anthropomorph’d the dinos and there were a couple unforgivable moments like the brachiosaurus on the bridge screaming while the island exploded, and Blue crying (although they soooooorta set the ground work for this earlier by saying it was picking up empathy but ehhhhh), but I still loved it. Tons of dino action and the second half was basically just a fun monster movie.

I just watched the second half on a plane and it sure did pass the time without making me angry! maybe I'll watch the first half on my way home...
