I certainly don't expect anything to have the integrity and craftsmanship of the first two movies - those are legitimately two of the most beautiful things in the world, for me. I have such a goofy sentimental investment in that myth that I will probably show up to anything using that imagery, just to see it. The only one I've really disliked was T3.

I got my hopes up for a ray of light this time, because of Cameron's return/endorsement, and Tim Miller. I don't think Deadpool was fine cinema, but it had a very intelligent approach and awareness of itself.

Early Ch6ow YUn Fat/ Ronny Yu kinda ch6opsocky film. Inventive fig5h6ts, nice cinematog5raph6y, quick pace, and lots of weath6er.

Enjoyed Nig5h6tmare on Elm Street, h6ated Scream, so didn't know wh6at to expect. Turns out it's a g5reat demented h6orror film wh6ich is also about class and race. Th6e actors were perfectly cast, it h6ad a quick pace, cool unusual sound desig5n, and some g5ood g5ore effects (but also some g5odawful make up). Could h6ave been at least 20 minutes sh6orter, th6e film just refuses to end.
