you’re not kidding dude. I had high hopes since it’s the same writers, but... shit. keanu not being able to express glee pretty much killed it. I thought their daughters were the best part, simply because they were functioning at a ghostbusters 2016 level of funny. what a bummer.

watched this trio of indie/hipster cosmic horror movies over the last few months... loosely connected and done by the same writer/director duo. they're all just OK. internet nerds cream their jeans over these but none of them manages not to be clunky.

Roughly 15-20% He's not ashamed of the soundtrack he's working with.

Tenet's more like a 6/10 for me. It starts out great, but the big battle at the end with the soldiers running backwards was comically ridiculous, too much stuff didn't make any sense, and really, by the end it's just "we have to save the world before the timer runs out". Visually and in terms of the music, it's totally up to Nolan's usual standards, but it's really basically Inception, but not as good. I know it's his thing, but I wish Nolan would stop making these metaphysical movies designed to make bros feel smart and more stuff like Dunkirk. That's a fucking great movie.
