I had a phase, but I thought for everyone else it was just a phase too. The stuff was definitely funny, but I also remember it as sort of an embryonic form of "it's funny because it's self referential" internet humor. I think those cave finds are the most important things in the world. Like, I wouldn't know how to explain it to a child, but I would feel obligated to encourage them to figure it out for themselves.
