I'm kind of liking this new "go fuck yourself" version of Jon Jones. That presser was probably the first time I didn't get douche chills everytime he opened his mouth. DC, conversely, still turns into an absolute fucking moron as soon as JBJ's in the room with him. It's really kind of sad.

Anyway, I'm really just rooting for Volkan Oezdemir.

Just remember, the UFC let a guy walk away who beat both Woodley and Maia. Still kind of bummed they let Mousasi walk, too.

Mousasi leaving for Bellator really stings. But tbqh I think this whole thing where Bellator is now suddenly getting somewhat high-profile fighters from the UFC won't last. We know what the UFC does with other promotions when they become an actual threat, and now there's more money behind them than ever before. And somehow I don't think Bellator's all that much of a priority for Viacom. But we'll see.

yeah, I felt a bit of a knot in my stomach when DC said something along the lines of "when you lose two times, it's not really a rivalry anymore". Shit, he was looking so good and I could see him kicking Jones' ass (something I would have been really happy about. fuck Jones), and then bam. Jones is so fucking good, watching that scene in slomo it looks like it's a low kick until it suddenly is not anymore...

near impossible for Jones to get beat at 205. man, i really wanted DC to win and that kick came out of nowhere. he really hit Jones with some brutal punches too that never fazed him at all.
