I got one on Satuday, because I was tired and didn't feel like making anything. Andouille sausage, bbq chicken, pepper jack, and bbq sauce... It was pretty decent. Its going to to be like three degrees all day, so I might get another one. I can get two larges with two toppings for $20. Hmm.

This has become an evil habit with me as well. It's funny that pizza you order is so much better than any other kind of pizza...homemade, ordered and reheated, store (gross) pizza, whatever. Nothing beats being horribly hungry and drunk and being able to command a pizza to be brought to your door.

I had some leftover pizza that I had made earlier in the week, and I pulled the sauce/cheese/basil layer off the crust layer and used it in an omelet. It ended up being pretty delicious.

kid says, "yeah, we sold a bunch tonight. but we have hand tossed and thin crust left."

i said no thanks and canceled my order.

goddamnit. i really wanted that pizza, too. *looks at box of triscuits* you're totally not cutting it. i should've gone grocery shopping. =\

to me it means that they gave away the pans they cook the damn pizza in because shouldn't the crust be the same? well at least for hand tossed and pan - just put a bunch of oil or whatever in the pan and shove the damn dough in the pan, top it, bake it. voila, pan pizza. right?

I was in the supermarket earlier this afternoon and none of it looked good...I kept thinking, "Well, I could go home and do better, or I could just fantasize and feel better..." I'm old and jaded.

I rocked the homemade pizza tonight. Again. I recently found a great thin-crust recipe (which is silly, because almost every recipe has the same ingredients) and, well, let's face it, I have finally accepted that I have to use pizza sauce and not spaghetti sauce. And I can't load it with tomato slices or it will be totally watery. After years of making pizza, sometimes it is time to face some facts.
