tbqh it's been too long since my first playthrough of 3 to remember all that much. I keep wondering how much of the situation with the mages in Novigrad depends on whether or not you caused the witchhunt at the end of TW2, and I can't remember if the save I imported the first time had a different ending.

I do wish Roche behaved a bit differently depending on whether you teamed up with him in TW2. I'm importing a Iorveth save this time, and he still acts like we're best buddies.
Plus, after seeing what a bitch Yennifer was in the Netflix show, I’m pro Triss this time.
Hahaha. I'm going with Triss this time too because I want to see something new, but if I'm perfectly honest, Yennefer is exactly who I'd pick in real life because I'm an idiot.

I also banged Keira Metz again. Couldn't bring myself to do a different outcome.

Well, of course, I’m still nailIng all them miscellaneous broads. I think I missed one the first time. Something to do with Gwent. Luckily, I have an instant win mod for that. Also, have a blood and dismemberment mod. Sometimes the game goes slow motion and intestines fly straight into the screen, filling it up like a 16-bit era arcade or SNES game. Wonderful!

Had to stop Witcher 3 because I got overly greedy and added too many mods that broke the game. Shit, but I did beat it previously. Lesson learned, don't keep adding mods during a play through.

Gear 5.... boring! Looks amazing but shallow as fuck. Done with this series.

Yakuza 0 RULES!

I'm about 2 hours into Doom Eternal and so far it's pretty fucking awesome, I must say.

Bioshock lives up to the hype. Played it in 2017, still held up theb despite being older.

Playing through THE OUTER WORLDS now, and it reminds me a fair bit of Bioshock actually.

My character is named VANGELIS.

Beat Metal Gear Twin Snakes, Zelda: Link to the Past, and Megaman 1.

Still playing through Yakuza 0. It’s good but long and so much busy work.

Started Doom Eternal. It’s awesome but tiring and very hard.

I think I want try those PS2 Castlevania games. I hear they aren’t bad, and the Netflix series got me into it.

man doom 2016, in some respects, improves on the original doom in ways my teenage brain could only dream of. if they could just lay off the 'spawn in' enemies and just have more set numbers of hordes it would be

the beserk power up in 2016 is like a violent psychopaths video game wet dream

Who said it was? But it’s a great game, so why not replay it over 20 years later.

I’m finding Doom Eternal too gimmicky. I’m actually preferring Doom 64.

Both Sin and Kingpin are getting remasters. I think that speaks more to the current state of FPSers more than anything else.

I want to play Guardian Legend for the NES. I remember liking it a lot.

Why the fuck does Doom Eternal have Mario 64 platforming parts? Officially my least favorite Doom. Want to rip & tear, not jump and micromanage cool down icons

I was a little surprised that a couple of the dungeons are tougher than I remember.

I've also been realizing that Little G Riles would annihilate tubby old Riles at basically any game.

Having video game ADHD issues. Playing through Doom 64, Doom Eternal, Yakuza 0, and Castlevania 2 at the same time & getting nowhere fast. Had to use a jump cheat for Eternal because fuck this first person jumping puzzle shit. Also, fuck the guy with the laser axe and shield. Who put a Dark Souls enemy inside a Doom game?

That's my only complaint with the game. Doom 2 was already basically shooting arenas linked together by puzzles and platforming sections, but some of the platforming stuff just takes too long. And if it's supposed to be a puzzle, I should be able to do it on the first try once I've figured out what you want me to do. I came here to chainsaw demons in half, instead you're making me swing from a fucking yellow monkey bar for five minutes, trying to shoot the red blinky light at the right moment so the door opens.

Other than that, though, the game has no trouble holding my attention. I'm halfway into my second playthrough of TW3 Hearts of Stone and I started Borderlands 3, but I haven't touched anything else since I got Doom Eternal. I'm already replaying old levels, obsessively trying to pick up all the items I missed. This is going to be one of those games that I go full autism on, I can already tell.

I don't think it really matters. I couldn't really get into Doom 2016 at the time, but I had just kinda checked out of videogames for a while when that came out, so that doesn't really say anything about the game. As near as I can tell, Eternal is very similar, just bigger and better in a lot of ways. So if you intend to play both, you should probably play 2016 first because it'll seem like a bit of a letdown after Eternal.

I'll probably go back to it when I'm done with Eternal, though. It's funny, I've got the Doom bug like it's '95. Chainsaw go BRRR, shotgun go BLAM!
