Because it's a fucking incredible cable TV series that's about drug dealing and the people involved in it?

Not that much of a stretch. They're both excellent shows. The Wire might be my favorite show of all time, but Breaking Bad is probably already in my top 5 after not even 2 full seasons.

To the people not understanding The Wire connection, I really really tried to simplify such a difficult, perplexing problem and I hope it helps...

I think this is easily the best drama series since the early days of Sopranos and Oz.

There was no comparison of Breaking Bad to The Wire. I mentioned how I had never even SEEN Breaking Bad. It was about Stormy's statement. Let me break it down for the reading comprehension deficient retards here.

The Wire, Sopranos, Oz = HBO Drama Series. I'm completely gay for and will always love The Wire. I feel it is not only vastly superior to both shows but the best TV program ever.

Thus, the first and ONLY reason The Wire was brought up. Now, I hope you "get" it. Will be checking out Breaking Bad this weekend. Thanks again to Stormy for the thread.

As great as it was to watch Jessie's Girl (yeah) walk around in her undies, she became so annoying i wanted her to die as soon as possible. Walt and Jessie went through so much together to make that money, and then some junkie broad comes along and thinks it's all hers. Man, the ending was so satisfying to watch her choke on her own vomit. I figured if she didn't die that way, Walt was just going to shoot her up with more heroin and kill her himself.

My wife thinks at tht point Walt took back the money, and thinks Jes will get deeper into drugs because of his girl's death. I think the opposite. If he takes the money it shows he was there when she died. And i think all this shit will straighten Jessie out. I also figure Walt's annoying wife will find out he didn't go visit his mom.

They revealed Skyler leaving in the commercials. Not only that, but they even showed the 2nd cell phone part as well. After that the only surprise was the plane crash, and having it tied to that girls dad.

They always show that clip in retrospectives about the Wire, and I guess at the time it was different than anything that has ever been on TV, but it is fucking stupid. If they hadn't even said anything, I think the scene would have told a better story, but I guess it's still pretty cool how they solved the whole case without real words.
