i'm drunk as well and i still think you're too angry lately for my liking. it's not you, dude. you need to calm down.

look at mike. you want to be like that? that's the path you're headed down. you have a good life, a good woman, a good job. it's not worth it, dude. it's not you. revel in the glorious glory that is your existence and become the happy-go-lucky hairy faggot we all know and love once more. you're necessary. geoff can't haul all the feelgood weight, bro. drag your sad ass out of the pen and step back up to the plate.

So did that passive aggressive cunt Amy responded yet?
If I got some bullshit like that, I'd immediately bring it up with her in person, not respond in kind with an email.
She must be your manager if she's approving your hours? When do you get paid for that week? This will probably not end well.

Not you Mike; the other Mike. But come to think of it... you could probably count as well if you were more organized.

A Doctor that doesn't understand what exists and doesn't exist in physical reality. "We're doing a heart transplant and forgot the donor organ, we'll just edit one in."

I wish it weren't real.

And I hate to paint all doctors in a certain light cause I work for some really cool ones, too.

I think what it comes down to is some of them aren't used to being questioned. They tell people to do things-- especially residents and med students-- and it gets done. Some of them also have an attitude that if they've done medical school, then everything else is very simple. You get some of them who really seem to act that if you don't have MD after your name, whatever you do for a living is "cute".

Some of them also seem to dash off emails before they think :|
Geoff, have you considered that doctors often don't THINK at all?
Perhaps a large number are just heaps of rote memorization that never get called on their idiocy.

there's a pretty significant amount of critical thinking involved with doctoring to debunk your "rote memorization" theory.

To be fair, it's a hypothesis.
And, I admit that I hardly have a wide cross-section of doctor interaction to form a differing opinion. I grew up in an area so shitty they send doctors in as "underserved area" service. It seems that the best of the best don't tend to end up in Backwash, Illinois.

Frankly, I don't trust doctors anyway... because treating the symptoms and ignoring the cause of those symptoms seems to be the standard operating procedure. I guess the cynic in me wins these mental exercises 90% of the time.
