I think we need to draw a firm distinction between incidental sex and gender quality-oriented sex. A sexual act with heterosexual motivation (i.e., a state of arousal whose genesis is the qualities of the opposite gender) is arguably de facto heterosexual independent of the actual gender of the other participant(s). To put it in a different context, a male that engages in sexual activity with a sex toy shaped or otherwise engineered to have aspects of a female is inherently engaging in a heterosexual act so long as the person was aroused by the female/feminine aspects themselves or the associations drawn therein.

Based on this framework, even if one presumes that any dude knew Marissa's personal history, any sexual act would be heterosexual so long as the female/feminine aspects of Mari's personage were the primary arousing mechanisms. Similarly, if a person engages in a sexual act with Marissa but is driven by the notion that she was born male is engaging in a homosexual act independent of Marissa's sex/gender.
