I've hung out with Amelia quite a bit but I never really experienced the manic crazy amelia in the flesh. I think by chance, the times I hung out with her, she was almost never blacked out drunk. We partied together but usually involving druga at the time. She would drink but not go insane or out of control. In fact, the one time I was hanging out with her when I know she blacked out, I didn't even know until we talked about that Stovakor show the next day and she didn't remember licking the guitarists hand when he held it out for her to shake. I just thought she was being funny and awesome. Those Stovakor guys are cool, one of them gave us a pot brownie to split.
