Hmm, I can only narrow it down to Oklahoma as a state. There was Spinefed but they just recently called it quits for good. There's Divine Pustulence from Tulsa but they kinda suck if you ask me.

the range is kind of wide because our band is instrumental with odd-time signatures and stuff, but the other band has vocals and is a little more straight-forward.

I'm open to a lot of different types of bands, it would just be nice to not get stuck with black label society-esque bands.
