ahahaha! We are SO not this polite at work. We are currently short 3 people and have a lot of OT for the holidays. There is an OT sign-up sheet in the office, on our white board that just says "sign up or get signed up" next to it in black marker.

"Alright, good meeting folks. I'll pulse that out to the rest of the team. Jon, we'll have a one-on-one dialogue about that action item later."

All of us need to step up to the plate, be team players and work in synergy.
Let's be pro-active and set up a day for a deep-dive.
We have to come up with a sustainable solution, ping me around 10.

I would rather scoop ice cream for my entire life for peanuts than have to hear this kind of shit on a regular basis.

That's what I like to call a success-aversive attitude. You've got to be less reality-susceptible: It is what you make it. "Ball-shirting", you say? Look again. It's shirt-balling. Dot com.

This statement builds to the point of making you uncomfortable..... just sayin. Thought I was gonna die while reading it.

My dad has a list of stupid things said by the boss in Dilbert that he would use as fake answers on tests in school. "Vortex of Criticality" is EASILY my dad's favorite.

That's just a hateful '09 cliche in general. My least favorite for '10 is "sustainable/bility."

Team, we're really going to have to step up to the plate and buckle down on all actionable issues. If it's possible towards the end of this week we're gonna wanna get some think-time in and really collate our thoughts and ideas in an effort to grease the track and get where we'd all like to be.
