This made me a little sad. In his prime, Perry Saturn was one half of one of the best tag teams in wrestling. And he also got stabbed while saving a woman from getting raped once, if I am remembering the story right. I had assumed he was dead, honestly.

I thought he was shot with a shotgun rather than stabbed.

Biggest shock of 2010 in this category: JC Bailey, for the way in which it happened. Dude was almost as famous for being a crack fiend as he was for being one of America's top deathmatch guys as well as a damn fine technical junior-heavyweight. After serving 18 months or so for breaking and entering, he got out, cleaned up... then died in his sleep aged 27 from brain injuries assumed to be related to his wrestling career, NOT his drug use.
