Am I the only one who imagined the Hound's helm looking more like Motorheads logo than the clanky piece of shit they went with?

Tyrion rules so hard in this. Pissing off of the wall must've felt good in those little bones. They are packing a lot into every scene. This last episode moved things along nicely.

I didn't recognize him at first but yeah, Carcetti is great in this. I even liked the sword training scene with the daughter. This show kills everything else out there.

Queen Wifey Precious Lillywhite's brothers hissy fit was so great. I can't wait til he gets stabbed.

Syrio is the first thing in this show that I don't like. He looks like Downey Jr. in Tropic Thunder, partway through the makeup job.

Other than that, good episode. I'm enjoying the cast more and more, espicially Tyrion and this little broad playing Arya.

Finally got around to seeing the third episode. Still pure fucking excellence.

I thought Varys was decent, Doad. He looks pretty close to how I imagined him, except without as much of a powdered face.

I agree that Syrio was a bit lame, but seeing Arya start her training made me so happy that I didn't mind.

One thing though... Where's Ghost? Maybe I'm just not remembering the story correctly but I thought we would have seen him already at the Wall.

This show gets 5 :pizza: 's out of 5 from me so far.

Vary needs to be powdered from head to toe. His face was all greasy, wasn't pervy enough. This show is pretty perfect though. I couldn't imagine it being any better. It has it's cheese here and there but so did the books. I noticed some really prolonged shots of food in the past couple episodes. I guess that shit just doesn't translate to film. The wall is perfect. That was the one thing that had to be just how I imagined it and they did a really good job. I'm still taken aback that Winterfell is not surrounded entirely with trees, I always thought it was completely woods from like above Moat Cailin/The Neck and on. They haven't showed the Eyrie yet have they?

Yeah, they really did the Wall justice. I think they're doing a pretty great job with the Dothraki portion too.

I imagined Winterfell more of a snow covered place than an Iceland looking area with cold, rolling green hills so I was kind of surprised at first too. Not a bad thing though I guess.

Nope, no Eyrie yet.

Interesting that they had Little Carcetti tell Sansa the story of the Hound and the Mountain. I wonder if that will effect the dynamic between Sansa and The Hound later.

4 episodes in and they still haven't touched the Lyanna "Promise me Ned..." thing.

All in all pretty sweet.

That last scene was badass as was the death with the way they lingered on the closeup shot. The week between episodes is becoming torture.

The guy playing Samwell is fucking perfect. I'm actually surprised at how well this is turning out considering they have so much to cover from the books. I know stuff is going to be left out along the way. That's just inevitable. Shit is going to start getting crazy next episode.

The guy reading it is awesome. He does different voices for everyone. Shakespearean actor type dude.

Yeah, I like him so far-- he does the voices well.

Hate to be a buzz kill but Roy Dotrice only does the first 3 books. He was unavailable for the 4th (a Feast for Crows). John Lee reads the 4th and it is kinda boring after Dotrice.

Pretty much. Barristan Selmy doesn't look how I imagined. I always thought he was kinda older and stoic and I thought he had long hair.
