You see, back in the 90's everyone (and I mean everyone, regardless of religion or philosophy) was still pretty impressed with Nostradamus' track record. And every casual person, when questioned, admitted that 1999/2000 was likely the end of the Earth, as he had predicted. We had all accepted this (what felt like a 95% probability) with a mixture of doomed loathing and sweet relief-- and that's how the next era* with it's carefree "everyone's cool, let's celebrate" attitude was born, somewhere between 1997 and '98. The late 90's contrast sharply with the early and mid 90's.

*The very late 90's were a completely different beast, characterized by feel-good laissez faire partying. Grunge and the bulk of the 90's was OVER, and this same cultural socially easy-going atmosphere would set the tone for the next half of the next decade [2005/2006]. That's the feel films like American Pie and Can't Hardly Wait were portraying/setting into place. Also films like Train Spotting (and oddly, Fight Club) started the attitude which launched the tech boom during this same period. Fight Club is the perfect transitory movie showing the death of the previous middle-90's attitude with the replacement of a more worldly yet serviceable one (through its sarcastic, self-mocking message).

Whether it’s sharing snippets of our life on Instagram, holding hands while we ride the subway in New York, or touching my waist or thigh unconsciously while we wait in line at the grocery store, our PDA is an ego boost that pushes against fat bias by showing fat people as desirable and worthy of love.

This is the perfect portrait of my day: I used my power drill with a face mask on, gardened whilst doing laundry, and drank whiskey whilst giving myself a manicure touch up.

Years ago, this guy wanted to do jiu jitsu privates but only if he was the one wearing a black belt and the person teaching him wore a white belt so if anyone saw it they would think that he was the one teaching the private.

That's gotta be the funniest shit I've read all day. For your own good, do some research before you speak on such things. Obviously, there's nothing toxic in the essence of the femme and masculine energy. When expressed however, all men have the tendency to do so in a toxic manner. Hugh Hefner treated women like objects and thought of them as such. There was never any consent (so he was basically raping a lot of women) and he was a fuckin pedophile who preyed on little girls. Again, fuck Hugh Hefner.

Hulkamania did have a big impact on me as a child in the late 80s and early 90s, but i could still appreciate the butthurt that followed the heel turn. One of his finest moments even if it was one of the most heartbreaking. Thus the Hulkster was no more and Hollywood Hogan was unleashed upon us for non stop triggerings.

His most "Hollywood" moment came recently when he gave a legal leg drop to SJW media network Gawker and put their blue haired shenanigans out of business. A champion and conqueror even beyond pro wrestling.
