You are a bad roleplayer. Period. Get the fuck over it. If you cannot stand a "human only" game and you just NEED your dragonborn or dhampir or tiefling or whatever fucking edgelord faggot race you play to make yourself feel cool, then you are a shit roleplayer. There is literally nothing wrong with humans, and 95% of roleplaying concepts can be easily done as a human. What the fuck does being a dragon-blooded faggot add to the game, besides making you look cool, even though you probably don't even draw your character? It just weighs down the setting with more pointless races that no one needs. A setting should have five races, maximum. And the main race should be humans. Why? Because humans are the dominant race. No it shouldn't be elves, they live for-fucking-ever and should be special. An all-dwarf setting? Bleck. I mean, it could be cool for a rare weird setting, but a setting that isn't 90% humans and the other races are mostly a minority, is just fucking stupid. It ends up with the game being like goddamn Star Wars and you need fucking breeding tables to decide what happens when race #482 fucks race #71. It's retarded. What do more races add, besides weighing down the setting? Nothing. 90% of the time, nothing that you couldn't accomplish with a fucking humans with alternate culture. It's easy to do if you're not a shit worldbuilder.

I really am getting sick of these xasthur fans who think they are allowed to play whatever race that they want, and that I will bend over backwards to include it in my setting. For shit-fucking-christs sake, the goddamn Pathfinder Races Guide includes like 10 new ones, on top of 7 or 8 in the core book, plus all the shit from 5e they insist on porting in. It's retarded. Get the fuck out. Extra races are unnecessary.

As someone who is new to DnD what the fuck is the point of gnomes and halflings. As far as I can tell the only reason people play them is so they can be a "hilarious" thief who makes stupid jokes all the tie, not to mention they often want to play something stupid like a barbarian gnome. Its not funny and I hate it.
Hi, kind of new to the whole pen-and-paper RPG thing. How do I convince the guy in charge to let me marry a giant demon lady? Is there a specific class I have to be? Or is there an attribute I have to raise to a certain number? Maybe a special wedding ring I have to find?

Literally last night I met someone who was in college and starting his own fashion line on the side, and I thought, how cool and interesting is this person. Then our mutual friend was like, "yeah his dad is the one who merged (Standard Oil) Exxon and
Mobil" and I was like okay buh-bye.

I have to constantly remind myself that being an artist (or what the fuck ever that means) doesn't guarantee this celebratory act of "follow ur dreams." Some of our most beloved artistic icons are bankrolled by surplus bourgeoise wealth (I.e. Stolen from working people).

Your first mistake is thinking that a fiend pact warlock "serves" a fiend. That's only one interpretation, and usually a shitty, edgy one. Warlocks don't "serve" their patrons, they strike a deal with them to gain power. Obviously they need to uphold their end of the bargain, but if it's literally full-time employment, you're probably an edgelord who thinks backstabbing the party "because that's what my character would do" is a reasonable thing to do.
>Start a campaign
>Level 3
>First quest is just a small "escort a sacrifice to a Dragon".
>Just a Young Dragon, and they are meant to get to level 4 on their way, and fight it.
>Only of the players asks what exactly the Dragon demands.
>Says it is the classic "virgin sacrifice" deal.
>Party immediately rapes the girl

You're made of fucking dry straw. What did you think would be the first strategy employed against you by your opponents, who would easily know this by looking at you?

Maybe during all those years of trying to convince your GM to let you play a scarecrow, you should have instead realized how retarded that is.

I really don't get why people like Mercer so much. Marisha is a worthless cunt, but Mercer is just as bad. Especially with this shitty DM advice videos, like who the fuck does he think he is? The only thing he's good at is voice acting. I truly pity people who think his description is good, because that means they've never had a competent game master. Not to mention, Matthew Mercer is contributing more to the downfall of the D&D community than anyone else in history. Not even Monte Cook, not even Lorraine Williams, not even Micheal Merals, not even Gary Gygax himself have done as much damage to D&D. Mercer has made the game palatable to the kind of person who spends his Friday nights playing Cards Against Humanity while slobbering microbrews all over his beard while his wife's son is sleeping in the next room. The kind of moron who thinks mirthful laughter is the end goal of everything, and fails to understand the potential that RPGs have as a fulfilling hobby. Instead, he shits on that creative potential by turning the entire game into a joke, refusing to take anything seriously and making gimmick characters, bringing along his fat girlfriend to make a shitty elf druid character that she hardly roleplays, screeching autistically whenever she rolls a natural 20 because that is the only aspect of the game that her tiny female brain can comprehend, taking copious pictures of the game and posting them to Snapchat and Instagram to show what a geek she is, before getting tired at 11 and tugging at her cuck boyfriend's shoulder so that they both leave and disrupt the immersion even further, because the game doesn't matter to these people at all. It is a mode of entertainment, nothing else.
you're all fucking autistic. All I ever said is that it talks and somehow you insane motherfuckers are arguing whether sentience is specific category with required mechanical benefits and not just a fucking word to describe a TALKING GODDAMN SWORD.

I really hate this board sometimes.

on that note...
WW was NOT about quality Superheroism depicted in a movie, it was about a feminist icon getting a chance to shine on the big screen. Even the other day I saw an article claiming that WW was the first "female-centered" Super-hero movie ever (?!?!?!?).
JL has nothing to do with the feminist zeitgeist, and by positioning Whedon in there, almost seems like a step backwards for the ladies who enjoyed the lite-feminism of WW.
And, tangentially, this probably proves that WW's audience was predominantly casual-viewers who don't tend to watch Superhero movies.
