I think I remember the main guy from the first season taking a shotgun blast in the first episode of the second season, and there was florescent green blood everywhere.

The Expanse Season 1 - 7/10
It took a few episodes to find its footing, but by the end I was hooked.
The Expanse Season 2 - 10/10
Picks up where the first season left off, and ramps up the sense of wonder, along with a few genuine "Oh shit!" moments.
The Expanse Season 3 - 10/10
And on it goes merrily along, adding some more oh shits, along with mystery and existential threat.
The Expanse Season 4 - 9/10
It loses a point for a shift in focus that feels a bit Star Trek-ey at times... not enough to ruin anything... just a minor distraction. And talk about your cliffhangers... Season 5 promises to be bonkers.

I'm inbetween, The Outsider - 7/10. They must have really tried to give these characters depth, and not caricatures, and some obviously bad swerves. I bust out laughing at "Damn you to hell!" But man Jack was having some fun.

That could have been done in 3 episodes instead of 6. I still LOL when I think of the red head saying the Mob made most of their money through gambling and McDonald's.
