the whole thing was so desperate and sour. the counterproductive "shoot" comments, giving an overvalued WWE cast-off a title his first night in, treating their homegrown talent as ineffectual afterthoughts, going through a week's worth of angles in the first 20 minutes of the program... and we still got the inevitable on-screen return of Jeff Jarrett to look forward to.

Yeah, so Jarrett can push & plug Global Force. Here's come crazy trivia: TNA has now been in existence longer than WCW. :drooly:

I just checked it. So, in 2013 RAW/Smackdown was still split. Was it only reunited for 2 years before they split it again? Also, that was their last time they had real red hot dudes in the form of Punk and Bryan. Sucks we're stuck with Roman Sufferin' Succotash Reigns now. Double sucks they try to push this douche so hard down our throats.

Ha, that's the one where pregnant Piper interferes, right? I also remember that match having real good camera work. A skill the WWE traded in for a more sterile look later on  .

Wrestlemania coming up. There's a couple decent matches and I'm sure there'll be some good spots but it's getting to the point where you have to sit through five hours of this shit to see an hour (very generous estimate) of anything worth watching.

Have I mentioned how much I don't care at all about women's wrestling ? Like, I hear people talk about how great women's wrestling is right now and I'm like, man would it even be possible for me to care less ?

Flo Rida and New Day equal bathroom breaks from all the beer I'll be pissing out. Oh, and don't forget all the commercials they have now. How many times did I have to see a promo for Camp WWE two years ago? By the way, Camp WWE was fucking horrid, as expected.

As for the women, well, if we're grading on a curve comparing it to the Kelly Kelly days, yes they are good. They have had a few really good matches, but overall their characters are so by the numbers that I really don't care about them. Also, those good matches have been by the same three women. The mic skills and acting are atrocious. Alex Bliss probably says the best stuff promo wise, but she's still too nervous when she speaks. Natalya is probably the best actress, but she never says anything memorable. Banks is the best overall, but she's no damn good at being a good guy. Regardless, these are women that are on TV so of course you're going to have to hear about how great they are. That's modern society. Meanwhile, half of all that praise should also be directed at the cruiser weight division, which is far better from a wrestling stand point, but not given the time to truly develop the characters. So, not to walk my spandex my own way, but the women are taking away time from better performers just because they are women, but we're told they're great and leading a revolution so we MUST like them.

I made the mistake of watching some old Florida Championship Wrestling on Youtube and now the present WWE product just seems so boring and fake that I felt tortured last night trying to watch RAW. Dude, I'm talking about Kevin Sullivan summoning a man from out of the ocean to serve in his evil magic ways, and that shit was less insulting.
