I think matt hardy should have been the exalted one and brodie lee should have joined the elite.

I give the dark order about 2 more months tops.

Hey dudes, watching this here Wrestlmania. It’s all a lot worse than you think. Don’t know if I can keep watching. Morbid curiosity can only take me so far.

That Firefly Funhouse match was my favourite thing in wrestling in two decades, and probably ever. Fucking incredible.

You know what's REALLY incredible?

The Sheik and Dory Funk Jr. Vs Stan Stasiak and Bulldog Kent 1978.

Yeah, man. David Lynch deconstruction of why John Cena was actually a heel throughout his career. If this results in a new n.W.o. or just Hollywood John Cena (ala Hollywood The Rock) future it’s just icing on the cake, although not necessary for this piece to work. I’m sure many people like Cornett won’t get it, but it wasn’t silly outlaw bullshit. For me Avant-garde > reality based > cartoony.

Outlaw mudshow bullshit.

I can't wait to hear Jim Cornette skewer it.

Only way he’d like it is if Kevin Sullivan did it.

If kevin Sullivan did it then it would rule.

I just saw the taskmaster about 2 years ago choke a motherfucker out with jumper cables. He isn't fucking around.

Modern wrestling sucks balls and YOU fucking know it.

Just as predicted.....Jim Cornette hated that stupid boneyard match.

Rightfully so. I watched highlights and I was embarrassed.

I knew he’d hate the Firefly “match” but he was less angry about it and more about the industry is dead. We all knew he wouldn’t like it, but I’m surprised it completely confused him. While you would need a scene by scene study of the various intricacies put forward I thought the overall idea was laid pretty bare despite its artsy dressing. I mean, maybe my mise-en-scene power level dwarfs his.

normally i steer clear of this thread cause its fucking depressing, but

i also got some Evangelion vibes from it.

i can listen to / read Corny talk about the history of wrestling all day, but he gets overwhelmed by the whole "terminally aggrieved 'rasslin gatekeeper hate-batin' in the woods to his tear-stained Apter Mags" bit.

Great interview.

I love listening to Corny totally destroy the cena/wyatt fiasco.

What a bunch of crap.

Love Sullivan. Wish there was an easy way to watch his “Satanic” stuff. The network, despite owning Florida wrestling, doesn’t seem to have anything outside short clips. Any ideas?

The network has to make plenty of room for sasha banks and Braun strowman documentaries.

For all the really good old school stuff that's on there, I always think of stuff that they don't have like the Florida stuff.
