Watched them 6/5 and 7/5 Japan matches. Oh hell no 4 and 3 at the most. Watched Steiner Brothers vs Nasty Boys from Halloween Havoc now that’s 5/5. Easily!

Really bummed out about Brodie Lee/Luke Harper. I thought his AEW character sucked at first but those matches with Cody ruled and I was excited for when he was gonna come back and go on a rampage. I am gonna rewatch all the Wyatt Family vs. Shield matches later.

I never watched the Attitude Era/Monday Wars when it was live, but I'm way into 1997/98 Raw right now. It's like the biggest combo platter from an authentic mexican restaurant compared to today's jack in the box tacos. I watched TLC live a few weeks ago and it was surprisingly good at the time, though. Can't beat closing out the show with a burning body in the middle of the ring.

Honestly, The Rock and Austin are great and all but as a complete show, pre-Russo Nitro was a better show overall.

I agree completely.....NITRO was the vastly superior show. There is still a ton of WWF/E stuff from that period I have never really watched.

97 RAW with the rise of Austin was such a great show overall. It dipped in quality post-Mania XIV as a show overall, where the Russo shock antics started getting more and more shine while the actual in-ring wrestling took a backseat. Nitro episodes definitely hold up better than any RAWs from mid-98-onward.

Indeed it is. From New Japan Fighting Spirit in Lowell, September of 2019. He went around and gave high fives to everyone in the front row after the main event when he got the pin. It was a 6-man, Tana, Okada & Ibushi vs. Naito, EVIL & SANADA. Great show.

Ethan Page's contract is up with Impact and he basically shit all over that whole thing on Twitter after the PPV. It was his idea but they put no effort into the filming and/or editing and he was really disappointed. I haven't even watched it because it sounded so stupid and I probably won't.

I guested on my buddies' podcast this week talking about the upcoming Royal Rumble, and we give our thoughts on 3 past Rumble matches - 1995, 2008 and 2014.

From almost killing himself in every indie match to tag teaming with Sting of all people. Darby's career arc is strange. I saw him wrestle at an Evolve show in 2016 when he was fairly new on the scene, kind of unremarkable at the time.
