Watching Shaquille O'Neal wrestle. Not horrible. His move set is totally Kevin Nash... and he just took a goddamn ECW table bump. Okay, then.

Shaq at 50 moved better in a wrestling ring than when Shaq at 40 was on the Celtics that one year. He looked great and I stupidly want to see a Shaq vs. Paul Wight match now.

Tully Blanchard with the old-ass NWA US Championship was great too.

Sting doing a cinematic match. "Sigh"! So done with this shit. Remember the first. Piper vs Gold Dust. Yeah, sucked then, more annoying now.

Congrats to AEW. Not since pre-NWO WCW ( please note, never saw much TNA) have I seen such a fart in church special effect ending. Embarrassing!

Johnny Ace re-hired by WWE as head of talent relations. I just want him to stack the roster with jacked up roid monkeys who can't do flips because I'm sick of the fucking "modern" style. Give me hosses pounding the shit out of each other AJPW 90s style or fuck off. I'm glad Lashley is the Champion, I'm down with Lashley/Sheamus/McIntyre just beefing it up. The PWG-ification of modern pro wrestling has ruined the fanbase and ruined the product and the day Vince McMahon dies is going to kill wrestling for good. These AEW fanboys who think they're on the "Right side of history" by supporting a fake-progressive billionaire heir playing with his sandbox to win over Dave Meltzer will be in for a rude awakening when Papa Khan stops giving Tony the $ to fund it and TNT no longer wants them on TV. There is no way that company is profitable right now.

The worst thing about this AEW shit is I feel bad for Kingston. Dude is hands down the best present day talker. He’d of been the shit back in the old NWA era.

Post you’re pro-wrasslin’ pod cast:

Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard:

C - was great once despite the WWF revisionist history, dude is muzzled like a bitch now.

83 Weeks w/ Eric Bischoff:

B+ I like Eric, but he is a used cars salesman deep down.

Arn:

B+ started meh, but he’s getting more ornery lately.

Grilling JR:

A I don’t disagree with anything he says, and some times I feel bad for him.

What Happened When with Tony Schivonie

B+ I just really like Tony. But he offers no insight into wrestling only humor.

Kurt Angle:

A+ This man has charisma, it’s true, it’s damn true.

Keeping it 100 with Konnan:

A- I always agree with Disco, and post-Covid Konnan has zero fucks to give.

Task Master Talks with Kevin Sullivan

B great listen but age is effecting Kevin’s chronological placement if things I think. Host sucks.

The Raven Effect

C It’s pretty stupid, but Raven is so Fozzy the Bear it’s entertaining.

John Arrezi’s Pro Wrestling podcact

A Maybe because I’m from the area it originally came from, but I just dig listening to his old wrestling radio show.

Busted Open

D I only listen to episodes that I know Bully Ray will shit on a wrestling show.

Jim Cornette Experince

A Oh, Jim, if only you had a less obnoxious co-host.

Jim Cornette Drive Thru

A+ with the cameos, song submissions, and questions this is the best of the bunch. He should be proud to put forward a complete comedy show and insightful wrestling thing at the same time.

Talk is Jericho

D Only listen to random shows that have a good wrestling guest, and then it’s mostly the guest that makes it good.

Only wrestling podcasts I even care about are Jim Cornette's Experience/Drive-Thru (Brian Last rules) and WHW just because I love Tony Schiavone. Haven't listened to WHW in about a year....but the first 50 or 60 episodes are excellent.

Something to Wrestle with has been good but I knew once he was back in WWE he would clam up.

You might dig the recent Tony episodes, they’re doing nothing but Jim Crocket ‘86. The whole year, all of ‘86. The Dusty vs Horsemen feud is such a well done war.

I listen to POST Wrestling when I need a review of a show I haven't watched. So I did that with AEW this weekend. They're pretty good, they're not as obnoxious fanboys about AEW as Meltz and Alvarez are, and they're pretty objective. I also love the We Watch Wrestling Podcast and I've been listening to them regularly since about 2014.

Oh, yeah, you mentioned We Watch Wrestling before. I was co-workers with Matt McCarthy years ago. Actually ran into him at that the last Wrestlmania in Jersey.

Matt tends to fall into that Meltzer-smarky "WWE does everything wrong and AEW does nothing wrong" thing but aside from that I love him and Vince together and I love that show. Where did you work with Matt? I've talked to him a few times and he's always really nice, I was a Facebook moderator for their WWW group for a while before I quit FB.

We worked together at the MTV networks and went to many a after work party together. I talk to him once in a blue moon, but that’s mostly my fault as I’m a big out of sight, out of mind type. I saw the early days of his stand up.

Is Arn's show still sounding like he's calling in from a state penitentiary?
