i think it's because despite how often he reviews metal, the crossover between metal/MA fans and fantano watchers is small. most of the people commenting on your video probably searched for MA reviews and haven't actually watched a real fantano vid.

all of which is to say you need to review a slightly more indie album to rake in the hits and provoke maximum outrage

I think what he's most guilty of, aside from being a complete pile of shit, is talking about the most mundane, obvious, trivial characteristics of these bands he's supposedly so interested in. He basically just lists the instruments the bands play, then the genres, then an adjective or two. If you could reduce one of the records he reviews to the most worthless elements that any non-deaf person could notice, you'd basically have every review he's done in a nutshell. People would recognize it in a second, too.

Anyway, I have some Sabbath to record. Fuck this fuck.
