As Waterston mentions, Michael Fassbender will appear in Alien: Covenant as a new synthetic named Walter in addition to reprising his role as the Prometheus android David. Plus, Prometheus co-stars Noomi Rapace and Guy Pearce have been rumored to appear in Covenant as Dr. Elizabeth Shaw and Peter Weyland, respectively. Additional rumors have pointed to the possibility that Waterston’s character, Daniels, may have a direct connection to Alien through a particular relationship with Ripley.

i guess i'm calm now (calmer than you) so i'm just, naturally, going to throw my gay hands up and resign the fate of a truly weirder promethean future for this series to the scrap heap of gay ns feelings I've had about Hollywood movies and instead im going to try and enjoy the number of completely meaningless fragments and little PR proxy moments that we'll see between now and NEXT YEAR that will attempt to woo both sides of this fan base war/slap fight over rubber monsters vs quasi evolution and film noir reason'd metaphysics. it was a stupid dream to have anyway

The trailer looked nice enough. But so did the Prometheus trailers, so... you know.
