I mean the accompanying text made me wish I had the keys to a bulldozer with wings that would obey my commands to pluck human bodies from the earth and drag them screaming up towards the parts of space that have never contained the breath of a being who understood love, but... that synth was pretty well-recorded, I think they used tape or a cool saturation vst?

that's what I do. mix things to sound good and then go through and oversaturate and make it sound bad

I'm kind of a dipshit because I do things the dumbest way possible by intentionally oversaturating and then going back in and adding dynamics to the blown out mix

If we weren't supposed to add bus effects to the master channel before the song was finished, it wouldn't sound good when I do that

anyway I don't think Foot Foot (all-time thread MVP and godfather) would have posted that if it wasn't accompanied by the Huntress Huntina Henriettadrix text explainer. bragging about their queer vhs diy video is pretty embarrassing*... but it has no impact on the power ov the synth!
