"An estimated 20 million Americans have some form of thyroid disease."

When I got off the river I was talking to some people and I asked some OBVIOUSLY pregnant chick how far along she was. She wasn't fucking pregnant and it was extremely awkward. she had a huge disproportionate belly though. oops

When I was in college and had zero social filter, I was sitting in a lounge talking to some friends when a girl walked in and I strait up told her "you look pregnant." She wasn't pregnant. She just looked the part. She walked away crying and I never made eye contact with her again.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, that was 16 years ago....these days she probabaly would have tried to get me kicked off campus.

She said "I'm not pregnant" and gave me a really cold glare. I told her "oh wow I feel like a fucking asshole, uh, sorry, this is awkward" or something very similar to that and she didn't respond. That was the end of that conversation. Yeah normally I would never (and have never) presume pregnancy without knowing for sure, but I had a healthy buzz and I thought I was making friendly small talk. She wasn't even obese, the rest of her body was slightly chubby with just this big round pregnant looking belly. Beer baby'd :fp:

I learned very early to NEVER ask the pregnancy question. Obviously it keeps you out of awkward situations such as that, but more importantly it keeps you from engaging the ones who DO want you to ask about it.

Here's one way to avoid embarrassing congrats to non-pregnant women: stop congratulating them for creating another goddamn baby in the first place! This does not warrant a congratulations — it warrants an icy scowl of disapproval.

I'm missing the part of the article where it explains her pictures were deleted specifically to fat shame her

That seems to be the crux of the complaint but i can't find any proof beyond pics were deleted which seems to happen regularly to nonfats as well.. ?
