Police are searching for suspects in Brunswick, Ga., after a young man opened fire on an infant being pushed by his mother in the stroller, killing the 13-month-old boy.

Brunswick Police Chief Tobe Green said the suspects are thought to be between 10 and 15 years old.

WJXT reports the mother, who was the only witness to the shooting, said she was confronted by two boys. She described the shooter as a black male between the ages of 13 and 15. Police said he was with a second boy who was a couple of years younger.

"He said 'I'm going to kill you if you don't give me money,' and I said, 'I swear I don't have any,'" the mother, Sherry West, said in a tearful interview with WAWS-TV of Jacksonville.

She said she tried to protect her baby, Antonio, but shots rang out. "I put my arms over my baby and he shoves me and then he shot my baby right in the head," West told WAWS-TV.

The Brunswick News reports that police had no motive in the shootings that occurred around 9:15 a.m. Thursday.

Brunswick Police spokesman Todd Rhodes told WJXT that the mother suffered non-life threatening injuries and was in stable condition at a nearby hospital.

"She is cooperating as fully as she can possibly cooperate, providing the best information that she has," Brunswick Mayor Bryan Thompson told WJXT. "Given what she has gone through. She is, for right now, the only eyewitness we have."

Brunswick police went door-to-door on Thursday with automatic weapons searching for the suspects and are offering a $10,000 reward for "information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for this horrific act."

Residents described the neighborhood where the shooting happened as normally quiet, though there have been some property crimes recently. The city is about 80 miles south of Savannah.

"This makes me very uneasy," Patricia Buie told The Brunswick News. "Now I am very concerned. It is making me want to move to the mountains."

MURFREESBORO, TN - Elizabeth Leigh Garner is a 42-year-old former cheerleader for the Tennessee Titans who has been accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy in her friend’s bathroom.

Police said Garner was at a party hosted by a friend when the married 42-year-old followed her friend’s 12-year-old son into the bathroom, fondled his penis and offered to perform oral sex on him. The boy told police that Garner asked him whether he’d ‘ever been with a woman’ before she tried to pull down his pants.

The boy declined her offer (ouch), left the bathroom and told his mother about the incident. Not happy with her friend’s antics, the boy’s mother called police.

According to the police report, Garner admitted to police what had happened, but said it was all just a big misunderstanding – she was very drunk and had confused the boy with the boy’s father. o_*

“That’s just absolutely no excuse for sexual assaulting a child. If you can’t tell the difference between a 12-year-old and an adult then there are problems,” said Kyle Evans with the Murfreesboro Police Department.

Elizabeth Leigh Garner was charged with sexual battery and solicitation of a minor, along with realizing a 12-year-old boy turned down her free blowjob. She has since been released after posting a $30,000 bail. If she’s convicted of the charges, she is looking at a possible eight years in jail.

It's a double standard, yes, but that's the way it goes. Boys and girls are, surprisingly, different.

Think back to when you were 12 years of age, or thereabouts. I think you have completely forgotten what a 40 year old looks like to a 12 year old. Looking back, most of my grade school teachers were attractive young ladies in their 20s-30s, and I remember them just looking like old fucking adults...
