I get a distinct cynical amusement from each one of these e-companies' emails alerting me about their latest updates to terms of service & privacy policy. I guess they're trying to cover their asses in the wake of the FB debacle, but doesn't the fact that they're making changes now suggest that they were previously just as guilty/vulnerable as FB was before the shit hit the fan?

i love turbo but seeing them in berkley sounds like the most awful thing ever. sort of related my sister wanted to go camping so i was showing my dad my favorite spot (which he hated due to the drive) and when we got there there was a massive hippy shade canopy thing up in the middle of the dry lake bed and some port o pottys. may have dodged a bullet on some terrible rave bullshit

I saw the all-gal cover band turbonegra in a tiny bar in SF and that was awesome

I'd never seen the real thing before - it was fun!

i was tired of using my cellphone in my remote office, so i bought some thing that works with my google voice account and hooks up to an actual Phone Like We All Used To Have Back When We Were Kids Or Whatever. i gotta say, it makes me feel more... professional? like having an actual phone on my desk makes me feel like i'm doing the good thing insofar as being a valued team member™
