A nurse colleague of mine shared that in some survey data he was analyzing two (2) unrelated patients at separate facilities in a relatively small population described their gender identity as "Attack Helicopter". The population was so small that this achieved enough significance to be featured on a graph in the presentation of the data.

To be completely honest, I did think the 'attack helicopter' thing was really funny the first time I heard it... unnecessarily and inexcusably cruel of course, but it did make me laugh.
That was like six fucking years ago though. I can't imagine someone handing me a form or paper in real life and going "Oh this is the perfect chance for me to jot down some old memes..."

this is the only place i consume memes so i guess im glad i didnt have to know about "i identify as an attack helicopter". what once was a terrible and dark place on the internet is now my shield from terrible and dark places holy shit.
