I hope you guys all enjoy the game, I really do. I'll be reading the thread because I like impressions from a hyped game from you lovely people. But, I've been reading story spoilers and Bethesda has achieved a new level...

Yes, no one plays these games for the story but it's like they don't even try. Fucking hacks. Don't do dialogue wheels Bethesda, let Bioware do their thing.

I am 14 hours from picking my Pip boy edition from my retailer who has invited me to show up in 12 hours time so they can spend 2 hours trying to sell me other games than Fallout 4.

Nobody plays Fallout or Elder Scrolls for the story. It's about having a big ass sandbox to interact with.

The best stories have always been a few side missions. Fallout 3's main story was so nothing I don't even remember it.

I have no idea what the story is in Fallout, nor do I care. I just click through the dialog options until I get what I need. My first playthrough on these games involves murdering everyone I see, and getting to the next objective whenever I feel like it. I play this for the exploration.

You're looking for your son (after you already looked for your dad in FO3

) and your son is the main villain who may or may not be an android or something and your final dialogue choice is kill him, ask him why, nuke Boston or be sarcastic.

Not one ounce of effort. One of the characters from Little Lamplight or whatever pedo paradise Bethesda made is back. Creepy. To me the game looks like dogshit. Bad shooting, bad graphics, long loading times, etc. It looks like more of a mod than New Vegas ever did.

Man, and to think Far Cry 2 is only little over 2gb, and that game really isn't a slouch.

Steam has pre-load downloaded about 25gb, so I guess I'll turn on the PC when I get home just in case it needs to DL anymore.

Some one let me know when the first nudity/sex mod comes out because I want to have Fallout 4 sex.
