I've read that some of the just-filmed Avatar 2 material is footage of children using sign language underwater...

yeah and I'm sure it's going to be killer

and now, an ad for an antidepressant that you're supposed to take in conjunction with the antidepressant you're already taking that isn't working (the list of side effects  )

I haven't even seen the original cartoon movie film but how can they spend so much money on this horseshit? I saw part of the mary poppins remake on a plane and they seem not to sing "spoonful of sugar" even?!? no wonder you only made $350M on your $130M budget (e.g. barely profitable, for the BO n00bs out there)

I mean, I know what the characters look like and I have heard the songs but I have never sat down and watched it start-to-finish. same is true of BatB, mulan, hunchback of notre dame, tarzan, and pocahontas (probably helped me enjoy Avatar... although I did see/enjoy ferngully). I was all about lion king, little mermaid, alice in wonderland, sleeping beauty, snow white, pinocchio, hercules...

I think I told you guys about the time when I started dating a gal (we were both around 30) and she told me her favorite movie was emperor's new groove, which I'd never seen. she and I watched it together. that pretty much sealed her fate.

I've only seen the first toy story and I only watched that last year :dann:

I guess it had to do with growing up in the 90s w/ a kid sister

Also I've seen Mulan recently and it's mad fucking racist, especially when taking into account that shit was only made like 20 years ago
