Don't know if you guys have seen this yet.

not a bad idea when it's done like this, but are more labels doing this in a stealth way lately....? I've made a few preorders and had the labels be like "cool, as soon as we get word back from the pressing plant we'll let you know when it'll be ready!" Going on three months for one of them (Agents of Oblivion) with no word.

Woah cool. I didn't know this was a thing.

The only times lately that I've seen OOP music rereleased on vinyl, it's some boutique kitschy company where that's ALL they do, and the prices are like three times what I'm seeing here.

This is a pretty decent lineup of albums, too. Like... I'm quite selective about buying physical music, and I think I'd pull the trigger on a number of these.

Kind of a related question and figured it was close enough to this topic to not warrant a new thread (I don't want to overwhelm people with all the new threads clogging up the board). is the Earache FDR vinyl stuff noticeably better than any of the other old CD versions? I got some new speakers recently and made some turntable upgrades, so I have my first ever decent setup and am buying all kinds of old shit I've never had on vinyl. I really want the Carcass albums, which I've only ever heard on CD, but I"m not sure if the FDR stuff is a marketing gimmick or what.
