Chad I fucking hate anime. It makes me feel racist if I think about it for too long. I don't bring it up as a subject socially because people tend to be surprised, offended and confused by my perspectives on Japanese pop culture.

All that said, if I had to recommend any of it, I'd definitely say Spirited Away, which is one of the happiest and spiritually genuine movies ever (I think).
