I got to the swiss cheese, where they attempt to lay bare the nonsensical nature of this “pandemic”

and it got me thinking: the worst conspiratorial thinking usually opposes occam’s razor as hard as it can. is there a name for this? seeking out the most convoluted explanation imaginable?

and now I’m wondering if hollywood is to blame. we already know that everyone is a hero in their own story. have these n=1 heroes been conditioned by DOCTOR house and bayformers movies to assume that there’s a vast web of interconnected shit that’s secretly aligned against them? and it’s not like that’s even a stretch - I think that web is there - it’s just an emergent property of power dynamics (absent sufficient awareness and/or empathy). but the mental of contorsions that some people undertake to find a “why”... it’s staggering
