Clearly, doomsday apocalypse has increasingly become a preoccupation of yours as you’ve gotten older (as it does for many, many other people). The details change but the fixation remains.

It’s obvious that doomsday quackery is a consequence of a person getting older and their inability to maturely deal with the prospect of their impending demise. It is hard for people to deal with the idea that they will no longer be conscious while the world will go on, without skipping a beat, without them (such is the narcissism of men). I could go through that article, disputing it, point by point. Some claims are so fallacious it really discredits the entire paper, although there are some truthful claims. Because this nonsense is being used as a pretext by animal rights freaks to pass laws excessively, artificially, raising the cost of animal products with the goal of eventually banning them altogether, and telling people to eat bugs and soylent instead. It’s a tax on the poor and it is fucking up people’s health way worse than some hot air. A low protein, high carb, high fiber diet is just...man, you’re seeing the civilizational consequences of that and they want to institutionalize it to the point of no return.

The real environmental crisis is falling testosterone rates in men. It’s literally a ticking time bomb. If anybody really cared about the environment they would be trying to ban plastic, but no one is doing that. But they will ban meat.
