There really is a suicide epidemic this year. A friend of mine in Perth has had 6 friends across Australia take their lives since January,

I'm really bummed as I always liked E's posts - and yes - the fast food ones were all time, shit sucks dudes - don't take your own lives.

Bummed. He randomly called me in 2002 so I got to hear his awesome voice way before he did his videos. Was hoping to hang out with him at some point. Thoughts are with his loved ones.

Dang, it also took reading a lot of posts and checking his FB to find out this wasn't a joke.

We had a joke-y/punisher-y relationship since meeting in 2002-3 or so at the Met Cafe while I was on tour. He threw shit at me all night while I was playing which actually really pissed me off, but after getting offstage and hanging out with him for a minute; I liked the guy. To me he is kind of a symbol of the better parts of this board.

This is a real bummer. I never woulda guessed that he was suicidal--he didn't seem the type.
