a review:
"very good music. gave me a nostaglic feeling. i wish the music style today was more like these guys. now everybody likes listening to pop-rock and emo music. sigh. anyways, these cds are great. get it "

whatever you say man...you're the expert....

I mean, I know nothing about this kind of music. Who are these bands? What in the fuck is nu-metal?!?!

but not much nu-metal.
then again, I forget what is categorized as nu-metal nowadays.
POD & Papa Roach = nu-metal, right?
I thought POD was Christian Rock. Late 90's, early 2K are the crazzzzziest peoples.

Isn't this you at the :24 mark? Oh wait, I'm thinking of your shirtless "rockin out to Assuck" video
i have to at least partially respect a band with enough self awareness to know that they cater to the shirtless/spiked hair/ drinkin bud lite from solo cups crowd to the point where they make a video featuring them
if there's anybody in the world who'd be fucking unobservant enough to actually damage themselves with trap-soap I guess it'd be the guy with dialup in 2007
This listo of my favoritist bands.. in chronological order.
static x
system of a down
slipknot
disturbed(seriously)
Slayer.
(i could never claim i liked a band so much better than the others it became my "favorite" after that.
If you don't know good music exists, and if you learn of music from tv and radio that is not a hard mistake to make. When your musical boundaries are set by clearchannel then slipknot is an unbelievable band. Praised be the internet.
The main thing I'm realizing from looking at the track listing and the fact that it makes people feel "nostalgic" is that I must be fucking old as dirt

bullshit, nostalgia is not an appropriate word for this mess; it's just rock radio hits from a decade ago.
what should make you feel old is seeing the grammy nominees, and realizing you haven't heard (or sometimes even heard of) most of the acts.
