Luke already started a thread about this. BUT...

seriously, the synth doc is much better than the krautrock one.

Here's the first part:

Awesome that they concentrate so much on The Human League (swoon), but also: how cool, still are the Kraftwerk guys? Well...I suppose as cool as Germans ever get.

I was a little stunned by how great Philip looks, still...but hmmm, he's only 18 years older than me. ;) Cool quote about him being attuned to concrete and being able to find it if dropped from a plane in the country... ;)

Like the director of these said, the Synth and Kraut docs should be watched together. It's great to see Daniel Miller and the influence of Ballard on The Normal and the rest of that early scene.
