Let see:
God of War III - Enjoyed it until it became perfectly clear that the double jump/wings over chasms is a pain, and is going to be an on going problem with this game. Everything else is responsive, except this nonsense is almost broken. I'll keep at it of course, but my enthusiasm has been smashed apart like a creature during a QTE.
Bad Company 2 - Was having a blast, until I got blasted like 10 times in a row trying to fight those TOW missiles with the tank. Why was this impossible for me? Too much wine at the time?!
Perfect Dark - Love this game, but I can only play a chunk at a time, before it's pre-Half-Life/post-Duke Nukem waiz become too apparent.
Perfect Dark Zero (demo) - Just wanted to compare the two and see why Zero is so hated. Really feels like a different game, and man, remember when next-gen graphics made everything look like plastic? I didn't mind the demo, was the game really so stinky?
Just Cause 2 (demo) - Well, well, well, I'd say this beats the crap out of the original. It's core shooting is still lackluster but as is all sandbox games. I ejected from a helicopter just to use it to smash into gas tanks, killing quite a few people.
Uncharted - Fuck this game, it really annoys me. So, I watched all the cut scenes and later level footage off Youtube, and I have decided that yes, indeed, FUCK this game, yet oddly enough...
Uncharted 2 -
Love this so far. Will beat this next, first priority number 1. It feels like all the good stuff from the first Uncharted with all the stuff that bored and made me mad gone from it.
I'm doing the bad thing again, I realize. Not just sitting down and beating one game at a time, which was quite successful last month. I end up playing here and there and then never beat any of these games. You know what went wrong? That damn planet mining in ME2. Completely killed my momentum.
