Re: The surely & inevitably stoppable "Industrial" metal thread
This is convenient since I went on a huge industrial kick today. I've been listening to Godflesh, Swans, and Ministry all day. I checked out Scorn (Broadrick, Nik Bullen, and Mick Harris) on a recommendation from a friend and really enjoyed the album Vae Solis. He recommended Skrew, Skinny Puppy, Pitchshifter, Throbbing Gristle, Candiru, Foetus, and some others too, but I wasn't digging any of it. I briefly checked out Blood from the Soul (Shane Embury) and liked what I heard. Sorry to Kat it up by listing band members after dropping the band name, but I felt it would stand out more to those who weren't familiar with the band. Scorn sounds a lot like early Godflesh which was about as good as it gets for me.
