I'm afraid this is something I can not or will not control. For the second time in about 12 years I find myself (lost in the wilderness) unable to consume meat or animal products in any way. I literally gag if I attempt it or think about it.

Woah. When is the last time you ate animal products?
Did it just happen out of the blue this time or did it come gradually?
How long were you unable to consume An. Prod. the first time?

The first time I took acid it happened to me.
It was really unlike me because my diet is pretty much the polar opposite of veganism.
(You know, French dairies...). It happened literally overnight.
Anything out of an animal was utterly disgusting to me, especially the smell. It lasted for months.
I went back to "normal" after 6 months or so, but a couple years later I started vegetarianism.
I was able to consume dairy products again, but in no way to buy/cook/eat meat.
Little by little after moving here, I got used to eating meat again.
Often I think about cutting meat off my diet again... Who knows, it might be soon.
My job is very physical though, so I have to be careful and do it right.

The last time this happened to me was about 12 years ago...I ended up being vegan for 7 years. It got so bad that I couldn't even touch anything made from animals...

Right now there is a container of milk in my refrigerator that I'm leaving in there to test my nausea every morning. I've moved it down and surrounded it with cardboard so that it doesn't infect everything else, though.

I know, I'm insane.
