Fun Fact: I can do a pretty good imitation of the mourning dove call... it took a while to learn that hollow whistle, but I did it!

Much more annoying is the common robin, or as I've come to call them, photon birds. That's because they start their incessant sing-songey chatter with the first photon of dawn. Have one perched outside your open bedroom window when you wish to sleep in a bit and you too can enjoy the thrill of waking with that ornithologicidal rage.

i had a mocking bird camped out in a tree by my balcony that started his stupid songs around 10 o'clock at night and would go until all the other birds started chiming in at sun up. i think he found a girl, though, because (thankfully), it's been pretty quiet at night.
