Yes. It also doesn't help when a band plays a style of music it doesn't understand whatsoever then shits all over the genre's forefathers.

Band sucks hard and is nothing more than something to make hipsters and art students feel "dangerous" without demeaning themselves by listening to actual metal bands.

It's like the whole band is just a science project where they transplanted the ANUS community in the East Village to see what would happen.

I'll bite even though no one cares. I've known Hunter the 2 years I've lived in NY, my boyfriend obviously records his band and has known him for a very long time. Musically I like some of the Liturgy stuff. I've only seen them live once, I want to see them again but I don't want to deal with the ... crowd of people that tend to go to Liturgy shows.

Hunter is really fucking cool. He's an odd duck as most musicians can be, while I don't agree with his "public internet persona", he's witty, funny, smart, and extremely friendly/kind. I've never gotten into a conversation with him about philosophies of black metal though.

The drummer of that band is also an amazing person, he's helped me out tons in New York with show booking as he works with one of the DIY spaces here. He plans in tons of other projects and he's a reallllly good drummer.

Anyway, this will change no ones opinion, I realize that, but we all know there are people that suck on the internet and rule in real life and the opposite. To me, Hunter is kind of like that, I don't care to read his interviews but I like seeing him in person and chatting.

i don't think interviews and "manifestos" count as internet and nobody cares if the drummer helped someone carry their groceries. triple H has no business playing or philosophising about the stuff that he does. he's the black metal version of one of those suburban kids who goes to a state college and decides his freshman year that he's going to be a communist
