It would be really funny if the savegames were somehow not compatible because I have the Singaporean version of ME2, too. Why do I have this version? Because BiowEAre refused to make a version with the original sound files for the German-speaking market.
You still bitching about this? I told you already like 10 times, AMAZON UK, you get your bames in 2 or 3 days and they are much cheaper anyway than the German version.
Now feel free to bitch about not liking to order from Amazon UK because you would have to go and pick up the bame somewhere in the woods because you are unable to make proper arrangements for the delivery.

Okay, and now explain how this is relevant to the fact that my savegames are from the Singaporean version, and I don't know if they'll be compatible with whatever version of ME3 I'm getting - most likely from Amazon UK? Because, you know, that's what I'm talking about. I'm not sure what it is you're talking about.

Well, yeah, that's why it runs on my European Xbox. I'm not too worried, but then again, honestly, doesn't region-locking savegames sound like exactly the kind of shit EA would pull? That's all I'm saying, but apparently Krieg has decided to pull a you-know-who and turn an offhand comment from me into a ten-page argument.

if there's anybody in the world who'd be fucking unobservant enough to actually damage themselves with trap-soap I guess it'd be the guy with dialup in 2007
Played the Rage demo for a bit today. How much of the full game consists of melee enemies charging at you while you try to shoot them, constantly running out of ammo? Because that seems to be most of what I'm doing.

i mean not entirely; like future video games are definitely ruined now if they don't seriously step up they game
but even while playing deus ex i kept waiting for it to get like, keeping in mind i loved alpha protocol, just kept waiting for "oh boy here's the good part !" after stealthing around without any satisfaction
The dialogue portions of Alpha Protocol were definitely better than Deus Ex but the combat Deus Ex, which is pretty much the meat of the game, was way better. I guess it's just about what you prefer.
deus ex was better overall and played on my nostalgia for the first game, but AP was more ambitious and clever
both i played through 3+ times

No, you'll come to miss those aspects when you're trudging around the closed "open world" to do shit tasks in return for shallow characters to say stupid things. You will long for being sent to a hide out to run out of ammo against melee enemies.
It's kind of amazing how consistently wrong you are about Rage, and even more so about AP. Shallow characters? EVERY non-rpg game has shallow characters not to mention every non-Valve shooter released since the beginning of video games. This ain't Fallout and it never was trying to be that. You know what other game sends you on fetch quests and to kill thugs? Skyrim.
Spacehamster, it's a demo. No, those aren't the only enemies you'll fight and right now I have more ammo that I know what to do with. It's not a game everyone will enjoy but it is a good game and has the best gunplay of any games this generation. It is most certainly worth more than the laughable $10 gotb suggested.
I think I'm going to have to leave the thread for a bit when you guys rent or buy the 360 version of The Witcher 2. "But it's not like Skyrim!"
