Most definitely. So the upgraded stuff doesn't sound so bad afterall and all the new characters have an additional area tied to a quest. Supposedly up to 4 hours per character.
so, you pretty much went Grump Mandu on us again and now you're realizing you're mistake? why so grump

Because $20 for a 14 year old game that I have purchased at least 2 times already sucks. Modders have already done many of the things Beamdog did foe this release. Their biggest selling point is the tablet version which would be really fun to control.

Have you played these, Goatus?

I am Pumped Mandu for Sleeping Dogs (maybe too GTA like for you gentlemen) and Dark Souls PC release. Darksiders 2 sounds great, too but that one might have to wait.

Finally beat The Line on Suicide Mission yesterday. Fuck me, the last few sections were hard. In some ways it enhances the bleak feel of the game, though, and the story definitely holds up the second time around. Also noticed a few small variations in the flashback cutscene at the end depending on what I'd done leading up to it. I don't think I'll be playing this on fubar, though. No, thanks.

From what I've heard its harder than Uncharted's Crushing difficulty. For a game that tough just on normal, yeeeeah definitely not trying the harder difficulties. Also in reference to the smug asshole, I posted that bit about Saints Row for those having the same issue that's keeping them from getting a 100% for the game. Anyone else get a beta for Little Big Planet Karting or whatever lame title they gave it? Its a great big pile of eh. Basically making that Modnation Racers game which I guess was eh as well, just throwing on a different title with more Sack people. Its so boring and rather generic. Why can't companies just let Mario have cart racing? This is actually one of the crappier betas I've been in.

Vanquish defeated! I have to say, I am sick of cut-scenes now a days. Or should I say Jap style cut-scenes. You know, the ones that don't have much story but have a bunch of over the top action scenes that your character cannot do in the game itself. If I wanted that, I'd watch an anime, not play a game, you stupid slopes. Good game, though.

The Punisher, a.k.a. as my original XBOX torture porn. Got to about the same point I did all them there years ago (2005?) I hate puns, but I enjoy the hell out of The Punisher's in this one. Skull face paint with skull logo on chest seems redundant, but no, it's pretty fucking awesome.

Crysis. This is one of those game like Arkham Asylum that I started playing and loved, yet stopped playing for reasons I can never remember, then a year or so goes by and I start it from scratch once more. Just got through the first level, but boy, is this one far FAR superior to Crysis 2.

So, I've decided to beat the Punisher, then Crysis. Then mowing through any other game that has a sequel coming out later this year that I didn't complete the original. Probably, starting with Transformers: War for Cybertron.

What's funny, though, is that in this case, what you can do in-game is actually cooler than what the stupid cutscenes show...

Yeah... and what the fuck is up with Burns just deciding he is going to help you at the end after you essentially kill him. That made no sense.

Yeah, not that the story's worth paying attention to or anything, but I probably played through the game four times in total, and that never started making sense. Oh well. If you think of the game as an oldschool shoot 'em up and basically set your expectations of the cutscenes at "all your base are belong to us", they're okay. The point is blowing up giant robots in slow motion, and the rest really doesn't matter.

Dusted off the PS3 and finally started Yakuza 4. I love this series so much. Lots of cheese and long cutscenes but there's so much to do in those games.

Tried the Journey demo and will definitely be purchasing that sometime, gorgeous. Also tried the Dragon's Dogma demo and am kind of in the middle on that. I'm really curious about the Japanese take on a Western fantasy rpg. Anyone play it? In the full game, can you turn off the button prompts on the side? I hate that stuff. I like the SoTC style mounting the bosses but the combat doesn't feel nearly as fluid as it should be.

I finished off getting the achievements for the Saints Row 3 DLC, back to 100% for that game. Now I need to decide which of the 7 games I've yet to play will be next... leaning towards Assassin's Creed: Revelations, because I expect it'll be easy to get into and not take too long to finish off and move on to another one...

I guess you were wrong there, big guy.

Man, really liked Saint's Row 3, a lot. Kind of makes me want to try SR 2, except I think that game has car racing missions you have to play, right? I refuse to play car racing in non-car racing games. GTA and original SR can fuck off with that shit. Rage as well.

I hear that XBLA Zombie game that just came out is poo. No Shadow Complex apparently... how are there not more games like Shadow complex (Metrovania type waiz)? There was that Bloodrayne one, but that was a horse's ass.

I liked Saint's Row 2 a lot, but it's not as over-the-top-crazy as SR3, and it's not as ridiculously easy either.

And... DR. THRAXX is right, just 'cause I mentioned SR3 doesn't mean I care about BroMan's techniques for taunting gang members after you've beaten the other gangs :P

I just gave up on Shadows of the Damned, fucking "Big Boner" parts, how the fuck do developers still come up with such annoying game mechanics?

I got so feed up with that part that I stopped playing video games for like two weeks. Then I came back and was able to bet it fairly easy. Once you memorize where the dudes will come from it becomes easy. Still annoying as all fuck, though. Actually, most of the game was annoying, except for some parts here and there. I rather liked the Evil Dead homage, and the constant crazy shit with the girl friend.

Haha, I don't know if' I'll ever try to continue it. The game's basically just point&shoot with a wacky design at best, catastrophic handling at worst. Kind of a bad version oaf Deadly Premonition.
