Well, this might be a problem as I'm a lone wolf, fruit loop. All my friends abandoned me, so I have no one to co-op with and strangers can all catch cancer of the eye-lid for all I care to interact with them. Then again, Unreal Tournament and Quake 3 were supposed to be multi-player only, yet I had grand fun playing those solo back in the day.

You might want to wait. I had tried to play New Vegas right after I had exhausted FO3, and it just burnt me out on the play style and Fallout world. That and the plethora of bugs at the time caused me to quit. I still mean to get back to it, and I will, I just want to play a bunch of different titles before I jump back into that beautiful time sink.

But I'll probably try to hold onto FO3 forever because I simply enjoy that entire world. I can spend a good hour just running around in there, listening to stuff and looking at things...
I think I went about as far as I can in that game... as far as quests go and such. Yeah, I can always run around blasting the endlessly respawning bad guis, but it's not really a challenge anymore. And the constant greys and browns tends to exhaust the spirit, despite the little touches of humor and whatnot tucked away in the deepest corners of the ruins.

I was planning on playing again as another character, this time as a total shitheel, but I dunno. Those greys and browns, knowe? :?

Maybe there's a mod that adds a little more color to the landscape...

Before we begin tonight's antisocial festivities I'm going to give this Rock Band Blitz a whirl. Worse case scenario I just over paid for a Rock Band 3 music bundle.

Borderlands was a very fun game. B2 is as close to perfect as that type of game is going to get.

Anyone playing Guild Wars 2? I don't like MMOs but this one is great, can't stop playing.

It does seem very 40k. I like what I'm seeing. I don't have the brand new ruleset Games Workshop just released, but everything in xcom looks like the traditional 40k method. I guess it really depends on things like win conditions, troop type and powers and selection, etc. So much of 40k is fluff and flavor, but there's an element of balance to it, the way they do certain things.

Kind of surprised at how much I'm loving sleeping dogs. It's pretty much what I want the yakuza games to be, but never are
if there's anybody in the world who'd be fucking unobservant enough to actually damage themselves with trap-soap I guess it'd be the guy with dialup in 2007

Everything I see for BL2 is so vulgar, so extreme, so over the top...

It hits that perfect stack overflow into awesome, I think it's the only game I'm fucking stoked for.

Gonna play BL now.

Guildwars 2 is great. I haven't played in a few days thanks to vacationing (and arena nets failed email authentication not working when I login via my laptop) but I have a lvl 18 warrior who owns

I'm level 13. I don't really bust my ass doing much to go up in levels though, just taking my time. I spent the first 4 hours wandering around telling players how great they looked, asking random questions, and making up stories. I will probably never get above level 40 because I just like sight seeing. Still really fun. I wish they had an exclusive server with tools to foster a roleplaying community.

Pretty much. I love the Yakuza games but no driving and a tad too many cutscenes kills the flow of the game.

I just hope RE6 doesn't have anything like the last few levels of 5. The first 2/3s of the game was great.
