I was kinda scared I'd start putting on weight again what with the surgeries and stuff. Lost five pounds instead.

It's not muscle loss, I just cut down on my carb intake a bit to counterbalance the fact that I can't do anything but pushups at the moment.

They took out the plate and most of the screws that went in when I broke the leg two years ago. That part was planned, I just happened to snap the finger ten days before and I didn't want to postpone, so I ended up with two surgeries in two consecutive weeks, but it's all healing up nicely and I'll be good as new in another three weeks.

Yeah, I dunno. I couldn't run with the plate in my leg, but I'm hoping that'll be better now. I can always just ride on gravel roads around here, but that's no fun, so I might as well go running.

I'm still within 3 or 4 lbs of when I lost 50 but I think a bit of the muscle I acquired last summer/fall has 'softened up' a bit. I definitely had a bit too much fun with winter beers this year. I'm getting back to not drinking during the week and might even get back on the wagon for a few weeks to get myself below 200lbs for the first time this century.

I'm down to 173. I slacked a bit in the fall/winter but I finally started working out. Been doing that for the last 4 1/2 weeks now, and loving it. Hopefully I'll be down around the low 160's soon.
