I agree that New Vegas was the better game of the two, but it didn't hold my attention as much as Fallout 3 did simply because it wasn't new and novel like Fallout 3 was when I first played it. I'm confident that I could start playing New Vegas and get totally addicted to it now that I've had a break from it for a year or two.

Being that the Skyrim engine did all that neat snow, and cold areas it's a no brain-er they would move the franchise north. And while my hometown is ridiculously over used in games (and media in general) here's hoping for some nuke blasted NYC.

I am so hype for Borderlands 2.

I really haven't been this excited for a game in a long long time. Work will suck tomorrow.

I was thinking Zero too, but Salvadore is kind of cool with dual wield of any weapons. They all seem really cool. I think Maya combined with Axton would be amazing. I have no idea who I'll use.

The Mechromancer will be awesome as well when she drops.

I've been reading reviews all morning and getting boners.

all of the classes are cool, but Salvador interests me the least for some reason. it just seems like he doesn't really have a special other than dual wielding. i have a friend that isn't getting the game and i might save my Salvador play through for when i go to his house

I think Salvadore will be able to fuck shot up depending maybe on how you level him up, I'm not sure, but that's what I'm thinking. The only problem is will he burn through ammo that way. A combat rifle and a sub dual wielded could be pretty awesome. Brick in BL1 was my least favorite though. I really liked the other three, even if it took me a while to like Mordecai, when I had him set up to my liking I could get hella loot and he became really fun for me. Roland was probably my favorite though, and that's why I want to play Axton, but he out of all the new characters looks to be the most similar to anyone from the first game.

true. i did have a class mod in BL1 that automatically regenerated my ammo as soon as it was spent. anything like that in BL2 would instantly make salvador(e) that much better

Well, still on Borderlands, so I'm not playing the second anytime too soon. I don't think playing 1 and 2 back to back would be a good idea. It would be the FO3-->FO:NV problem all over again.
