I'm getting these at wholesale prices then marking them up a couple bux per record. there's only two record stores in town that actually sells new records, plus a couple of roaming distros, but not one that caters to this type of hardcore audience, and since i don't have a store front or employees to pay, i don't have to mark them up that high either. i've been doing really fucking well at this actually, because i can sell these at every show. plus it will get people more interested in coming out to shows if they know there will be a distro here each time. i've been selling so many records lately, that i can make a new order each week! i'm actually ready to make another $1,000+ order right now. The more money I keep investing into this, the bigger it keeps getting. Since people that come to shows aren't always Buffalo natives, that's one thing I have up on the record stores. I don't have to only rely on Buffalo people to buy records from me. Plus, people are just making appointments to come over and buy records from me too. It's great.

I can tell the one local indie shop here is pissed that I'm doing this, but he doesn't really cater to this audience. I'm going to be releasing my own records soon, very soon. So that's why I'm setting up a distro first, so I can get in good with all of these labels before I start trading and shit.

I'm aiming at variety but I know what people want too. A lot of kids that come here love Hatebreed and Crowbar. Someone will buy this record eventually.

I've never actually slept in one yet, but like you said, that's pretty much all you can find. I read a bunch of reviews and this one sounded pretty good, especially because I got it for $79 with tax. A lot of the reviews mentioned that this was a rather large cut mummy bag, so hopefully it won't feel confining at all. But I don't think it will bother me much either way. I'm just psyched to finally get a sleeping bag.

It goes pretty damn well but I don't like the flash placement so much as my finger usually goes there. I'm thinking of getting a grip for the front too

Didn't quite know what you meant until I tried it out; it rudely jostles your finger out of the way. 8) Guess I'll need to adjust then.
