Just to illustrate my point on how bad the God of War camera angle is in places this is an example of how bad it gets, yet you're still controlling the character at this point. Now imagine you seeing this much of yourself trying to fight off around 10 enemies and you get the idea of how bad this fucking camera is.

This was a problem in the demo already. I'm certainly overjoyed to hear there's more of it.

Seriously though, I do like this game a lot so far.
Well, if we go back to 90's era Marvel and Image comics, those dudes had tons of pockets and never put anything in them. So, efficient use of pockets is a real problem, Geoff. I'm just glad in this day and age there's a cure.

I....kind of want Resident Evil 6, too. It can't be that bad at $40 and a ton of pre-order bonuses? Gotta save up for vacation this summer.

Anyone want Bioshock on Steam? I have a free copy to give out.

is this going to turn into some giant discussion where i just scroll past giant walls of pisscubes-text? the ones that bring much needed in depth discussion to the gaming thread?

No.

Jesus, Lara, the hits just keep on coming. She's supposed to be this super hot chick, but after this adventure she'd be a scarred up mess. She also probably has hepatitis.

On the Resident Evil subject, what are everybody's favorite RE games? I think my list would have to go:

Resident Evil 4
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil Zero
Resident Evil
Resident Evil 3

And I have not played 5, 6 or any other additional versions. Am I missing anything?

I just started a new game in 4 on the Gamecube the other day. I forgot how much pure fun it is to play that game. You still have to think as much as you did in any other RE game, but it's so much breezier and more enjoyable due to the style of gameplay, and the levels and enemies are just so awesome.

Pisscubes wrote:Leon's mission is actually pretty cool in places. 40 might be a little steep though. I'd place it around a 25-30 game.
The only reason I'd consider it at $40 is because the season pass for mp will be included and I heard the mp is actually fun? Probably just hold off.

2 brings me back to my buddy's basement, playing for hours on end in high school. I didn't own a PS back then, I was a 64 guy, so I would play RE 2 every single time I was over there until I had beat it without any help. 4 is definitely a better game, but 2 is amazing.

Do any of you guys have programming/scripting experience?

Not game-related. Just for computers in general.

my only real gripe is i wish that there was a bigger emphasis on the actual tomb raiding. what are there, 6 or something? they're all optional, short (solve one environmental puzzle and you're done), and fairly easy.
